Police search for Gregory Parkison, 64, missing in Paradise Valley

PARADISE VALLEY, AZ - Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 64-year-old man who went missing over the weekend in Paradise Valley.

According to Paradise Valley police, Gregory Parkison left an elderly-adult health care facility between midnight and 2 a.m. Sunday near Scottsdale and Doubletree Ranch roads.

He walked away without his care providers knowing, police said.

Parkison left without a wallet, any identification, money or phone, police said.

His family has not heard from him.

Parkison is described as a white male, 64 years old, 6-feet tall, and weighs about 175 pounds.

He has "salt and pepper" colored hair and a mustache.

Parkison has the early onset of Alzheimer's and is diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and prostate cancer, police said.

He may also be a little violent if approached, police said.
