PD: Pool service worker chases Paradise Valley home invasion suspect

PARADISE VALLEY, AZ - A pool service worker helped officers catch a Valley home invasion suspect on Tuesday, according to police.

Officers responded to the call of a home invasion around 2 p.m. near Tatum Boulevard and Roadrunner Road, according to a Paradise Valley Police Department press release.

Officers were told a suspect armed with a gun went into the home and confronted the victim.

The suspect fired the weapon at the victim and others in the residence but missed, police said.

The suspect took cash from the victim and fled the scene in the victim's vehicle.

Police say the victim's pool service person followed the suspect and called 911, giving the suspect's location to police dispatch.

Phoenix police stopped the suspect near 28th Street and Greenway Road and took him into custody.

The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Harley David Will of Phoenix.

Police say the victim identified Will as the suspect who robbed him and a loaded handgun was found inside the vehicle. The weapon was found to have been reported stolen from a gun shop in Queen Creek.

Will was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on charges of robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, theft, vehicle theft and burglary.
