Paradise Valley police looking for attempted carjacking suspects

PARADISE VALLEY, AZ - Police are looking for more information after a carjacking attempt by three men early Friday morning in Paradise Valley.

The incident took place around 5:30 a.m. at a four-way stop, which police say may have been Invergordon Road.

The 20-year-old male who reported the incident later Friday morning said three men at the corner approached his car, pointed a handgun into the air and told him to get out of his vehicle.

The victim was able to drive around the suspects in a lane of oncoming traffic and get home safely.

The carjacking attempt was not reported until a few hours later when the victim's girlfriend suggested he alert police.

The suspects were described as white males, but the victim was unable to get more details because it was dark outside at the time of the incident.

If you have any information on the suspects or the incident, contact Paradise Valley Police Department at 480-948-7410.
