A man suspected in the murders of a Paradise Valley couple and a Phoenix cigar salesman has been indicted on nine new and unrelated felony counts.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 32-year-old Michael Crane will be arraigned Thursday morning on counts of attempted second-degree murder, burglary, theft, misconduct with weapons, armed robbery, aggravated assault and attempted burglary.
The Arizona Republic says the new charges stem from a burglary late last year and an armed robbery in early February.
Crane already is jailed and facing 15 other counts including first-degree murder, kidnapping, burglary, arson and auto theft.
He's pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in the killings of Bruce Gaudet on Jan. 26 and of Lawrence and Glenna Shapiro on Jan. 30 in separate robberies.
