Paradise Valley Police Department says officials are looking for a suspect now considered a fugitive after a series of burglaries in the Valley.
Preston Tait Schireman has been a person of interest in several crimes in Paradise Valley and Phoenix. Evidence collected at a May 2015 burglary scene near 68th Street and Northern Avenue matched his DNA.
He reportedly escaped police when he was stopped while driving the burglary victim's car and again in August when he was detained following several car burglaries. Paradise Valley police say he was even arrested once while still wearing handcuffs from another encounter.
Schireman also has a history of giving false names to police.
Paradise Valley Police Department says he was released from police custody on bond but failed to appear for sentencing.
