Three protesters arrested for blocking a road at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's rally near Phoenix two months ago have accepted a plea agreement.

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced Friday that Michael Cassidy, Stephany Laughlin and Jacinta Gonzalez pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a highway/public thoroughfare.

Each was ordered to each pay a $100 fine and complete 10 hours of community service.

The three were part of a group protesting Trump's March 19 rally.

Activists gathered about 3 miles from the rally site, along one of two roads that wind through the mountains north of Phoenix into central Fountain Hills.

Demonstrators pulled their cars across an access road to block people driving to the event.

Cassidy, Laughlin and Gonzalez chained themselves to some parked vehicles.
