The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men who robbed a home in Fountain Hills earlier this month.

On July 15, deputies were called to a home near Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards after learning two men broke into a home and assaulted the residents.

According to an MCSO spokesperson, the two suspects broke into the home through the garage and assaulted a man. The pair then bound the hands of all three residents and forced them into a bathroom.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash, cell phones and other items before fleeing in the homeowner’s silver Volvo, authorities said. The car was abandoned about a half mile away from the scene.

Randy Vogelzang recounted the moment a masked man held him at gunpoint in his own kitchen. He was working late into the night on his car and left the garage door open, as he ran inside to wash his hands.

He turned around to find a man saying, "Shh, shh! You need to go to the bedroom."

"He tried to keep me quiet," said Vogelzang. "And I was in aw of what had happened."

He was pepper sprayed and tried to put up a fight, leading to a bloody aftermath.

"He hit me with the gun," said Voglezang.

Once Vogelzang was forced into the bedroom, he was shocked to find another man pointing a gun at his fiance Julie.

"He got here down on the floor, he yanked her down and then kicked the dogs," said Vogelzang.

His fiance's 18-year-old daughter was also pulled in; they were all tied up in the bathroom.

The men targeted their safe, grabbing $7,000 in cash and pills for Vogelzang's bad heart.

"When I get to have a heart transplant, it will be months with nothing and we've been saving and saving and saving," said Vogelzang. "And they got all our savings."

But he said the worst part is the lingering fear, as his fiance and their kids don't feel safe in their home.

"I can deal with it, but hurting my females, the most important females in my life, you're hurting them," said Vogelzang. "And that's something I have a hard time with."

The suspects have not been located and a description of them has not been released.

An investigation is ongoing.

The family has set up a GoFundMe to help with their situation.
