A man has been arrested in connection with a boating accident on Lake Pleasant that critically injured a person.
Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say 45-year-old Sean Ceshia has been booked into jail on suspicion of two counts of aggravated DUI in a watercraft, two counts of endangerment and one count of aggravated assault.
Authorities say impairment is believed to be a factor.
Sheriff's officials say Ceshia was driving the boat while the man was attempting to guide it out of the lake and onto a trailer attached to a pickup truck Thursday.
They say Ceshia hit the gas on the boat, causing it to launch out of the water and hit the back of the truck before landing on a man.
The 46-year-old victim remained in critical condition Friday.
