Authorities say three people were hurt in a crash Monday afternoon in the North Valley.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened around 1:45 p.m. on New River Road north of Carefree Highway.
One of the three people hurt was not breathing, according to MCSO. Further details about those involved were not immediately available.
Daisy Mountain firefighters asked drivers to expect delays if traveling through the area and recommended they use an alternate route. The area reopened to traffic around 5:40 p.m.
