Boulder Creek High School student arrested for threat to fellow students, according to MCSO

ANTHEM, AZ - Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies say an 18-year-old Boulder Creek High School student has been arrested for threatening to shoot and kill his classmates.

MCSO spokesman Joaquin Enriquez said on Sunday, deputies received information that the student posted on his Twitter page "For my senior prank I’m going to bring an AR15 to school and kill everyone.”

During the course of the investigation, Enriquez said deputies found other Twitter posts from the student including one with a yearbook photo that said “I bear witness that there is no god but God. I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

Investigators also found a post on a Facebook page related to the student that spoke of starting a “riot” on Monday, reportedly to retaliate for some students not being able to walk in graduation for vandalizing the school.

Enriquez said the suspect admitted to posting the threat.

He was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail on felony charges of making a hoax.
