Arizona woman, Valerie Timm, finds pictures washed away in flooding, looks for photos' owner

NEW RIVER, AZ - One of the participants in the lost and found in the aftermath of this week’s monsoon flooding is Valerie Timm.

Her find in a Skunk Creek wash in the New River area: A photo album.

“We’d really like for the owner to have them back,” Timm said.

She spotted the white squares, the backs of the pictures, while walking through the (now dry) Skunk Creek.

“I know that pictures aren’t replaceable,” she said.

Some of the pictures are too muddy to recognize, but the others show a family that loves horses, had a puppy, and visited the airport.

“I can’t imagine what it would be like to not have anything [after a flood],” Timm said.

“So I was kind of hoping that returning their pictures would brighten their day.”
