A 47-year-old teacher in Yuma was booked into jail after turning himself in for a case involving sexual exploitation of a minor.
Christopher Knoles, a member of Gila Vista Jr. High School, was reportedly arrested in late January for attempted sexual exploitation of a minor after a Yuma police investigation.
In December 2015, a student said Knoles solicited nude pictures from her online.
On Feb. 22, Knoles reportedly turned himself in on a warrant and he was booked on charges of sex abuse, child molestation, aggravated assault with sexual motivation and 14 charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
