YUMA, AZ - Authorities say a man accused of taking his baby daughter in a custody squabble in southwestern Arizona has been arrested near the Utah border.
Yuma police say 47-year-old Jeff Green was taken into custody without incident about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday by Utah Highway Patrol.
They say 5-month-old Aleeha Green was found unharmed in her father's truck.
Police say the stop occurred on Interstate 15 about 4 miles north of the Arizona-Utah border.
They say Jeff Green doesn't have custodial rights and allegedly took his biological daughter from the mother's Yuma home after an argument late Tuesday.
His truck was spotted in Nevada about 7 a.m. Wednesday and authorities believed Green was headed toward Montana with the child.
Yuma police say Green is facing possible custodial interference and-or kidnapping charges.
