Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, two big Hollywood names, have traded the bright lights of Tinsel Town for rooms at The Meadows. A rehab facility with locations in Wickenburg and North Scottsdale.

"No one comes into treatment for the most part wanting to be here," explained Sean Walsh, CEO of The Meadows.

For privacy reasons, The Meadows could not confirm if either men were patients at their facilities.

The Meadows treats patients with a variety of issues including depression, bipolar disorder, and even sex addiction.

"I think people doubted drug addiction and alcohol addiction 50 or 60 years ago," said Walsh.

Walsh goes on to say, "It's no different than any other addiction...You look at the impact they have on the brain and the tolerance that happens, the inability to control the consequences that happen, and it mirrors drug addiction to a T."

The Meadows provides a number of different treatments; from the more traditional group therapy and individual counseling, to a neuro-feedback machine, to art and equine therapy.

The goal, Walsh said, is to give patients options.

Walsh said it's important to point out the facility is not a vacation. There's a lot of emotional heavy-lifting happening with no days off for inpatients, no spa treatments, no saunas, and no massages.

"It's 8, 9 or 10 hours days," said Walsh. "That type of work is exhausting."

And it's not cheap. A typical 45-day stay will set you back $58,000.

The Meadows is considered in-network with many insurances which will help mitigate some costs.
