TUCSON, AZ - A Tucson police officer has been fired after being arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a convenience store clerk while off duty.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department notified Tucson police that 23-year-old Kyle James McCartin was taken into custody early Tuesday.

Rincon District deputies responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon at the Giant Gas Station about 3 a.m.
