TUCSON, AZ - Border Patrol agents seized nearly 5,200 pounds of marijuana inside three vehicles in southern Arizona over the weekend.
Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents were working in a "remote" area near Naco, Ariz. Sunday and noticed three abandoned vehicles, according to a press release. The agents discovered 334 bundles of marijuana inside.
The confiscated drugs are estimated to be worth $2.6 million.
The vehicles were seized by Border Patrol agents. The vehicles will be turned over to the Drug Enforcement Agency.
