TUCSON, AZ - Police have arrested a suspect wanted in a series of burglaries and car thefts in Southern Arizona.
Tucson police officers caught up with Patrick Joseph Greiwe as he drove a stolen vehicle early Monday.
Greiwe, 31, was a suspect in at least five different burglaries and for three stolen vehicles, mainly in the community of Catalina.
According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the incidents began in September with a vehicle break-in where a money bag was taken, but located shortly after.
Four days later deputies found evidence tying Greiwe to a stolen vehicle incident.
Greiwe was also suspected of breaking into a construction business the same day where he allegedly stole copper wire and a pickup truck.
Greiwe is suspected of two burglaries in October and finally on November 13 a home burglary was reported in which a vehicle was stolen along with items from the home's garage.
Authorities say that in all the cases evidence and witness statements implicated Greiwe and attempts were made to locate him.
Greiwe was finally caught and arrested in the early morning hours of December 24 and booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
