TUCSON, AZ - Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies are investigating after a man and woman were found dead in a home Saturday near Tucson.
Chief Deputy Chris Nanos said preliminary evidence indicates that it was a murder-suicide.
Green Valley District deputies were called to a home in Green Valley, which is located 30 miles south of Tucson, shortly before 6 p.m. regarding an unknown problem.
A man and woman were found inside the home with "obvious signs of trauma," according to PCSD. Police believe the man killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself, citing preliminary evidence.
The Sheriff's Department did not release the victims' names pending next of kin notification.
