Campers and hikers at Mount Lemmon should be on the lookout for a bear that appears to not fear people and has been seen roaming populated areas several times this summer.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department says the bear isn't overly aggressive but has followed hikers, tried to enter a trailer and was spotted as recently as Friday.

Mount Lemmon is a popular hiking and camping destination in the summer because its high elevation offers cooler temperatures.

Game and Fish says campers should clean up their areas and stow any type of food or trash out of sight. If you do spot a bear, avoid contact.

Should a bear approach you, Game and Fish says to wave your arms around and make loud noises before slowly backing away.
