Man facing manslaughter charge in Tucson crash

TUCSON, AZ - A man is facing manslaughter and other charges after a fatal car crash in Tucson last month.

Tucson police say 60-year-old David Charles O'Bard was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Pima County jail.

In addition to manslaughter, police say O'Bard is being held on suspicion of aggravated DUI, felony criminal damage and two counts of endangerment.

It's unclear if he has a lawyer.

Police say 90-year-old Dorothy Hill died of complications from her injuries in the March 13 crash.

She was a passenger in a car that was struck by a truck O'Bard allegedly was driving

Police say O'Bard allegedly failed to yield from the stop sign and crashed into a passenger car.

O'Bard was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say he showed signs of intoxication.
