Man arrested in fatal Tucson home shooting

TUCSON, AZ - Police have arrested a man suspected of fatally shooting another man at a Tucson home before fleeing in his car.

Police spokesman Chris Widmer says 38-year-old Patrick Jay Dansdill was arrested Saturday afternoon at his home.

Widmer says Dansdill was booked into Pima County Jail on one charge of second-degree murder.

Authorities say Dansdill showed up at the house before 12:45 a.m. Saturday and got into an argument with 31-year-old Ramon Garcia at the front door.

Dansdill allegedly fired through the door, hitting Garcia.

Police pronounced Garcia dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two other adults in the home were unharmed.
