TUCSON - Traffic is moving again on Interstate 10 where the highway was closed in both directions on Tucson's southeastern outskirts because of a fatal collision involving two vehicles.
Rural Metro Fire Department assistant fire chief Mike Schwartz says two people died in the Monday morning accident, which involved a tractor-trailer rig and an SUV.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says westbound lanes have been fully reopened and that eastbound traffic is using the shoulder to get past the site of the accident.

An ADOT spokesman says there was about a two-mile backup of eastbound traffic shortly before 9 a.m. MST.
