Arizona man arrested after swearing at flight crew

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. - An Arizona man has been arrested at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut after the crew of a Southwest Airlines flight complained he swore at them and failed to put away his electronic devices when asked.

Twenty-year-old Verrell Paul Isaiah of Tucson was charged Tuesday with breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. He was due in Superior Court later in the day.

According to an arrest report, Isaiah was acting "tumultuously" on a late-night flight from Chicago to Bradley before falling asleep. The crew reported that he resumed swearing at them when he was awakened. Police said he also berated a customer service representative from the airline and caused "alarm to the commuting public and Southwest crew."

Efforts to reach Isaiah were not successful.
