GLOBE, AZ - A lightning storm is being blamed for a power outage at the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe Tuesday night.
Globe Fire Department spokesman Al Gameros said when a maintenance worker went to reset the breaker after the storm, a fire broke out.
Gameros said the fire was contained to a small area outside the building and is no longer burning.
Authorities said the worker received 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his body. No one else at the hospital was injured.
Crews were able to restore power to the facility around 9:15 p.m.
