TUCSON, AZ - The Solider Basin fire is still raging near Nogales Wednesday, and fire crews have only contained 15 percent of the blaze so far.
It has now burned approximately 6,000 in the Patagonia Mountains, and more than 200 firefighters have been called in to work the fire, according to a press release.
Crews are currently clearing brush and creating fire lines to control the fire. So far, it hasn't threatened any buildings.
Fire officials are advising anyone traveling into Soldier Basin should expect delays. If possible, fire crews want the public to avoid the area.
