MCSO: Truck rolls over in far west Valley, passengers may have fled with weapons

TONOPAH, AZ - Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help investigating a serious accident in the far west Valley.

MCSO deputy Joaquin Enriquez said a truck rolled over Sunday around 5:30 p.m near 339th Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to Enriquez, when deputies arrived on scene, firefighters were airlifting a man in his 20s to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Deputies said they are unsure if the man was the driver or a passenger in the truck.

Enriquez said witnesses told deputies they saw other people remove guns from the truck and flee the scene.

Deputies said they are working to identify the other persons involved.

Enriquez said the victim remains in very serious condition at this time.
