ELOY, AZ - Heavy rain has caused some street flooding in the small town of Eloy.
National Weather Service meteorologists say storms dropped nearly three inches of rain Monday on parts of Eloy.
That left many muddy roads and standing water on some streets in the town located about 60 miles southwest of Phoenix.
"It's was raining buckets," said Samantha McCullough who played in the water with her two children. "We don't get much here so might as well play in it!" she said.
"I didn't know what to do," said Ursala Telles whose home was flooded. "I just ran to grab some towels to stop the flooding, but it didn't really work," she said.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries, or anybody needing to be evacuated.
