GILA BEND, AZ - A mother of three was arrested Friday after police found burns that matched a stove top on her two-year-old son's bottom, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
MCSO spokesman Brandon Jones said the 26-year-old woman, Ana Elena Ochoa, was arrested in Gila Bend after an anonymous tip was called in to Child Protective Services.
Deputies said Ochoa admitted to being frustrated with her son because he wet himself while she was getting ready for work.
According to Jones, Ochoa said she stripped his bottom clothes and held him over the hot stove top for an unknown amount of time, redressed him and continued to get ready for work.
Deputies found bruises on the two-year-old's lower back and blisters on his lips and fingers. Ochoa told detectives that she hurt him because she is "fed up with him," and said "I don't love him."
The three children, ages one, two and four are in CPS custody.
Ochoa was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on child abuse charges.
