CBP: Woman caught with $192,000 worth of marijuana at Arizona's Port of Douglas

DOUGLAS, AZ - A 21-year-old woman was arrested last week accused of trying to smuggle nearly 388 pounds of marijuana through the Port of Douglas.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers said officers found 176 packages of marijuana concealed throughout the woman's vehicle, worth an estimated $194,000.

The suspect was referred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations, according to a press release.

Officials seized the woman's vehicle, as well as the drugs.

Douglas, Ariz. is located about 233 miles southeast of Phoenix.

No other details were released.
