TUCSON, AZ - Pima County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested two teenage boys after one allegedly asked for help in killing his ex-girlfriend.
Authorities say a 17-year-old male conspired with his friend, another 17-year-old male, to murder the 18-year-old mother of his child.
Both teens were booked on Friday at Pima County Adult Detention for one count each of conspiracy to commit murder.
Deputies say the baby's father was upset about money and custody issues involving the 1-year-old child.
They say he offered an undisclosed sum of money for his friend to lure the woman into the desert, shoot her, remove her teeth and then burn her so any remains couldn't be identified.
ABC15 is not identifying the suspects as they have not yet been formally charged.
