NOGALES, AZ - Federal authorities say they've seized more than 180 pounds of hard narcotics in southern Arizona.
Border Patrol agents from the Nogales Station were conducting patrol duties Wednesday afternoon and arrested two Mexican men east of the DeConcini Port of Entry.
Agents say the men were in possession of three bundles of narcotics. Two of the bundles contained 171 pounds of cocaine worth almost $2 million.
In the third bundle, agents found five containers filled with methamphetamine. The meth weighed seven pounds and was worth nearly $86,000.
The men face possible federal charges and agents say the narcotics will be turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
