A woman is accused of stabbing her estranged husband multiple times in Arizona City on Monday.

On Monday, The Pinal County Sheriff's Office received a call from a man who accused his soon-to-be ex-wife, 29-year-old Cassandrea Saucedo, of stabbing him with a steak knife during a "heated argument."

Before deputies arrived to the home near Milligan and Lamb roads, Saucedo also called 911 and accused the victim of lying about the stabbing officials said. Saucedo allegedly told the emergency dispatcher that someone else had stabbed her ex-husband the night before.

The victim was waiting outside for deputies to arrive, PCSO said. He suffered stab wounds to his left arm, torso, neck and back.

Saucedo denied hurting her husband and insinuated that he has made her mad before and she has wanted to stab him but has never acted on it.

The man is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, endangerment, domestic violence and disorderly conduct.
