CASA GRANDE, AZ - Authorities say a Casa Grande man could face a sentence of over 200 years in prison if convicted of sex-related crimes against minors.
The Pinal County Attorney's Office says 51-year-old Luis Martinez was arraigned Friday in Pinal County Superior Court after he was indicted this week on 24 sex-related charges.
The indictment alleges the crimes occurred in or near Casa Grande between 1987 and 2006 involving eight female victims ranging in age from eight to 16 years old.
Martinez faces 10 counts of child molestation, six counts of sexual conduct with a minor, six counts of sexual abuse, one count of indecent exposure and one count of sexual assault.
If convicted, Martinez could face up to 210 years in prison based on the inclusion of three potential life sentences due to the victims' ages at the time of the alleged offenses, according to the PCAO.
