Fire hazard forces snowmobile recall

WASHINGTON - Arctic Cat Inc. is recalling some of its snowmobiles because of fire hazard due to an oil leak.

About 3,000 Arctic Cat Snowmobiles are being recalled because oil can leak into the engine compartment, posing the hazard.

The recall involves Model Year 2009 Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo, Z1 Turbo Sno Pro and TZ1 Turbo model snowmobiles.

They were sold nationwide between June 2008 and July 2009.

Arctic Cat is urging consumers to stop using the snowmobiles and contact a a local dealer for a free repair.
