Walmart is recalling a card table and chair set after receiving several complaints of finger injuries, including at least one finger amputation.
The retail giant is recalling about 73,400 units of the Mainstays five-piece card table and chair sets. Walmart says the chairs can collapse unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard and risk of finger injury or amputation.
The recall comes after 10 reports of injuries from collapsing chairs, including three fingertip amputations and one full finger amputation.
The table and chair set was available at Walmart stores and online from May-November 2013 for $50.
If you aren't sure if you have the recalled set, the words "Made by: Dongguan Shin Din Metal & Plastic Products Co." can be seen on a white label on the bottom of the chairs.
