The Campbell Soup Company voluntarily recalled about 300 cases of Prego Traditional Italian sauce due to risk of spoilage.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall affects items that were shipped to Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
The product in this recall was manufactured on Dec. 15, 2013 and has the "Best By" date of June 16, 2015 and a four-digit, military time code ranging from "CT BJ ZV 0330" through "CT BJ ZV 0449."
The possible spoilage was reported after routine quality control testing within the company.
No illnesses have been reported with this recall, the FDA said.
