GLENDALE, AZ - Glendale police say a man found with a gunshot wound Thursday morning at a bus stop has died.
According to Glendale police spokeswoman Tracey Breeden, a 911 call came in around 6:30 a.m. from a person who noticed a man on the ground bleeding near 59th Avenue and Colter Street, just north of Camelback Road.
Paramedics took the man, 40-year-old Malcom Crittendon of Phoenix, to a trauma hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound, Breeden said. He was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Breeden said no witnesses have come forward, and there are no suspects or leads in the investigation as of Thursday afternoon.
No weapons were found at the scene.
It's unclear at this time where or how Crittendon sustained the gunshot wound.
