One Direction makes video for Arapahoe High School student Claire Davis

DENVER - The world-famous boy band One Direction sent a special video message to Arapahoe High School shooting victim Claire Davis.

The video was posted on YouTube Thursday.

"Speical (sic) message to Claire from 1Direction Thank you every one(sic) for your support and thank you 1Direction, keep praying for her," the caption reads.

On Twitter, friends have been using the #Get1DtoClaire hashtag to encourage Claire's favorite band to come to Colorado to visit her.

They also set up a Twitter account called Pray for Claire D.

"It's truly amazing that the fans really came together to raise awareness and show their support. The bands' thoughts and prayers are with Claire and her family," said Mike Navarra with Sony Music Entertainment.

17-year-old Claire Davis was shot in the head at point-blank range at the school on Friday, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said.

As of Wednesday, Davis remained in a coma in critical condition.
