Ohio boy donates $20 to soldier, Texas company launches national campaign in response

One little boy's brave, simple act of kindness could have a multi-million dollar ripple effect on thousands of other children across America.

Six weeks ago, 8-year old Myles Eckert found a $20 bill outside of a restaurant. In memory of his father, an Army Sgt. killed in Afghanistan, Myles wrote a note and gave the money to Lt. Col. Frank Dailey.

Lt. Dailey was so touched by Myles' gesture that he in turn donated it to a church.

Now the 8-year-old's story has inspired countless others to donate.

A Texas company has promised to match every dollar donated until Memorial Day to "The Snowball Express $1 Million Pay It Forward Challenge," a charity that helps children who've lost a parent in the military.

So far the Snowball Express has collected more than $180,000 in donations.
