As more kids go back to school online this week, NASA is taking remote learning to the moon!

Students K-12 are being challenged to dream big and share how they would lead a group of astronauts on a one-week expedition to the moon’s South Pole.

Writers must share the skills needed for a successful mission, including ideal personality traits for crew members and descriptions of technology to leave behind to help lunar exploration in the future.

The deadline to enter is Dec. 17.

Finalists in each age group will travel with a parent to NASA’s Johnson Space Center next summer to learn about lunar exploration.
