Missing Lincoln, Nebraska toddler found in nearby bowling alley's stuffed animal 'claw' game machine

LINCOLN, NE - A Nebraska mother had quite the scare Monday after her 3-year-old went missing from their apartment.

According to our sister station, The Denver Channel , the boy somehow left the apartment and went across the street to the nearby bowling alley.

The boy was found by a bowling alley patron inside one of their 'claw' machines stuffed with toys.

This isn't the first time a child has been spotted inside a game machine- it seems like it happens a little more often than it probably should.

ABC News reported in 2012 that a 2-year-old had to be rescued from a game machine inside a laundromat.

A YouTube video from 2013 shows a different child inside a similar machine playing with the toys at what appears to be an arcade.

The boy was not hurt in Monday's incident. The vendor gave him a stuffed animal from the machine to take home. As for Kael's mother, police say she won't be cited because they don't suspect neglect in this case.
