What does President Barack Obama, Saudi Arabia and Gov. Doug Ducey have in common? A John Oliver joke.

The host of HBO's "Last Week Tonight" used Ducey as a punchline Sunday when describing Obama's April 20 visit to Saudi Arabia. The president was greeted with a governor, not King Salman.

"That is a snub, you send a governor to meet the President of the United States?" Oliver quipped. "Just imagine if King Salman arrived in America and was greeted at the airport by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, that would not be acceptable even if he was moonlighting as a limo driver."

We've reached out to Ducey's office for comment. Social media chatter on the joke was light, although Robbie Sherwood, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton's spokesman, tweeted this:
