It happens: you go to the store, stand in line to pay, pull out your coupon...It's expired.
Don't throw out it out just yet!
The website for bargain hunters, Rather Be Shopping, said many stores will still accept a "gently expired" coupon, (that's one that expired in the past few weeks). Or, managers may give you a new one if you just ask.
Here is a list of stores that may just let you use a coupon past its expiration date:
- Bed Bath and Beyond
- Buy Buy Baby
- Michaels
- Kohl's (Kohl's won't let you use expired coupons, but may allow you to spend expired Kohl's cash.)
- Dick's Sporting Goods (However, many brands are excluded so it still may not work.)
This list isn't guaranteed and many times, it is at the manager's discretion. But it is worth a try right?
