NEW YORK - A police officer in New York City is behind bars, accused of planning to cook and eat 100 women, according to ABC News.
Following an FBI and New York police investigation, 28-year-old Gilberto Valle III was arrested for allegedly discussing plans to "kidnap, rape, torture, kill, cook, and eat body parts of a number of women," ABC News reported Thursday.
There were reportedly some electronic messages between Valle and an anonymous person about doing the above-mentioned things to "Victim 1."
There were then computer files discovered, showing photos of at least 100 women, the report said.
He was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit kidnapping and using the National Crime Information Center database to see unauthorized data, ABC News reported.
Valle is accused of using that data to conduct surveillance on his future victims, ABC News wrote.
