Cute, 5-year-old Miles Scott, or as many now know him, "
Batkid," is getting so much attention the Make-A-Wish site overloaded and shut down.
Miles is battling leukemia and his wish to be a superhero for the day was granted in San Francisco Friday morning. His day started with a call from the police chief saying he needed Batkid's help.
Miles spent the day rescuing a damsel, fighting off villains and saving the Giants' mascot. His story created so much interest, if you go to the Make-A-Wish site to see his profile, you will see a special message that reads:
"We're sorry, we are currently experiencing technical difficulties due to interest in the Batkid wish. Please check back. We appreciate your continued support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation."
Below the message is a donate button that still functions.
