4 dead, 2 critical after Indianapolis house erupts in flames

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Authorities have released the names of an Indianapolis couple and two children killed in a house fire that critically injured the youngsters' two surviving siblings.

The Indianapolis Fire Department says Saturday's fire killed 47-year-old Lionel "Leo" Guerra, his 33-year-old wife, Brandy Mae Guerra; their 11-year-old son, Esteban Guerra; and their 8-year-old daughter, Blanquita Guerra.

The couple's 14-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son remained in critical condition late Saturday afternoon at Riley Hospital for Children.

Firefighters found the parents and their four children unconscious inside a small bungalow-style home along Interstate 70 shortly after 9 a.m. The couple and two of their children were later pronounced dead.

Capt. Rita Reith says investigators do not suspect any foul play was involved in the fire, but the fire's cause remains under investigation.
