PHOENIX -- Katherine Motley started the online meet up group Swap Phoenix.

As the mother of seven she knows how difficult and expensive it can be to keep up with the latest fashions and preferences of growing kids.

The way it works is you pay $10 for access to a year’s worth of monthly clothing swaps.

Bring clothes and then take clothes, there is no limit to how many items you can take home with you.

Motley said she asks people to make sure the clothing they bring is in good condition and doesn’t have any rips or stains.

Whatever is left behind Motley donates to a woman’s shelter.

Motley hosts the swap at a different location each month.
