PD: 21 undocumented immigrants found at Phoenix drop house
PHOENIX -- Officials say 21 undocumented immigrants were discovered in a West Valley drop house Friday night.
According to Phoenix police, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office got a call from a gas station from one of the immigrants who had been able to flee from the home near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
He was apparently able to give dispatchers the address by taking a piece of mail from the home.
Deputies called Phoenix Police who found 20 adults and one juvenile inside.It was unknown Friday night whether there was a human smuggler among those taken into custody.
There was no word on any injuries.
