They've protested on the streets of Mesa and Guadalupe.
Now, opponents of Sheriff Joe Arpaio have taken their cause to cyberspace.
Late last week, the Maricopa County Democratic Party launched
Joesgottogo.com.
Needless to say, it's not the internet home of the Sheriff Arpaio fan club.
"(Joe's got to go) is the conclusion we drew a long time ago," said Maricopa County Democratic Party Chairman Mark Manoil.
"We hope other people after visiting the website will draw the same conclusion," added Manoil.
The site features a '
B.S. Meter' Manoil claims separates fact from fiction when it comes to Sheriff Arpaio.
"I'm sure Arpaio and his supporters will see this as an attack," said Manoil. "We really invite people to look at it and not discount it because of the source."
The committee to re-elect Joe Arpaio released the following statement to ABC15:
Sheriff Arpaio will not issue any comments about the November election and his opponent until such time Channel 15 reports the truth about his opponent, facts determinable through sworn court testimony, depositions, and other documents. All are available as public records. Those documents prove his opponent is an immoral and unethical candidate. However, the site makes virtually no reference to Arpaio's opponent for Maricopa County Sheriff, Dan Saban.
Manoil claims that while run by the Maricopa County Democratic Party, the website tries to remain objective.
"This is intended to be factual content, not overtly partisan content," said Manoil.
The election for Maricopa County Sheriff is November 4.
