The hikers were with a group of five people, when the two became tired and dehydrated.
A rescue helicopter was called to the scene, but crews determined it was not necessary to airlift the hikers.
They were not far from a trail, so crews had no problems assisting the two hikers who managed to walk off the mountain with the firefighters.
They were given water and did not need to be taken to the hospital.
As always, firefighters stress the importance of carrying plenty of water when you hike, wear protective clothing and sunscreen, and don't hike in the heat if you're not accustomed to doing so.
